Hospital appointments, tests and procedures can be a big part of life for a child with a heart condition. Some children will experience these from infancy and continue attending hospital throughout childhood and into adulthood.
Our Bear, Passport & Sticker Programme has been created to make those experiences feel a little more understandable, positive and child-centred.

The Heart Heroes Bear Programme is currently active at Great Ormond Street Hospital and Bristol Royal Hospital for Children, with the full Bear, Passport and Procedure Sticker programme developed at GOSH.
At GOSH there are now more than 100 unique stickers covering different procedures, wards, clinical areas and experiences within a child’s cardiac journey.
If you’re a parent or carer and you’d like to know more please download our guide. It’s full of useful information and tips on how to get the best from the programme.
