We are thrilled to welcome you to Olius Lodge, our headquarters and dedicated family hub. Named after our beloved mascot, Olius the Octopus, this specialized haven stands as a beautiful symbol of hope, community, and resilience for every child walking the congenital heart disease (CHD) journey.
Once an abandoned caretaker's bungalow, this space has been completely transformed after two years of hard work, dust, and determination.
Olius Lodge is a calm, welcoming, and safe space designed specifically for our Heart Heroes, their siblings, and their support networks. It is a place built entirely around connection, understanding, and shared experiences.
Relax and Unwind: The kettle is always on. Pop in to take a breather and enjoy a hot drink.
Connect with Others: Meet other heart parents who truly understand your day-to-day reality.
Play Spaces: We have an abundance of toys, a dedicated baby play zone, and a vibrant garden.
Expert Support: Our staff are regularly on-site to answer your questions and offer guidance.

No booking required. Come as you are to chat with other parents, grab a slice of cake, and let the children play safely.
Baby & Preschool Hubs
Specialized mornings filled with singing, dancing, and free play tailored for our youngest heroes.

A dedicated, supportive gathering for parents to unwind, destress, and share experiences.
Young Adults
A friendly, relaxed atmosphere for older youth to make new friends, socialise, and play games.
Forest School
Outdoor learning and nature play in our garden using tools and seeds generously donated by our local community.
Play Therapy
A one-to-one therapy where play and art materials are used as a way for children to express themselves.
