We understand that a congenital heart diagnosis impacts not just the physical heart, but the emotional well-being of the entire family unit.
Living with life-long medical needs can feel isolating and difficult to navigate. We deliver tailored psychosocial interventions directly to the children and families within the Heart Heroes community.

Medical Education: Age appropriate language, play, and visuals to help children understand their diagnosis, treatment, & prognosis. Identifying and clarifying misconceptions to reduce anxiety and fear.

Coping & Emotional Support: Safe outlets for communicating complex emotions through therapeutic play & creative expression. Coping skills to manage pain & anxiety. Normalizing experiences.

Sibling Support: Helping brothers and sisters understand and process the family’s journey.
