Heart Hero Poppy recently had another cardiac catheter procedure — and of course, her Heart Heroes bear was right there by her side.

Poppy was also wearing her very special hospital gown, lovingly handmade by our wonderful PJ Fairy. Little touches like these can make such a difference in helping children feel more comfortable during hospital stays and procedures.

A cardiac catheterisation (cath lab) is where specialist tests and procedures are carried out, including angiograms, ablations, angioplasty and the implantation of pacemakers and ICDs.

Behind this beautiful smile is one incredibly brave Heart Hero.
