A huge thank you to the Community Engagement Lead at Bristol City Robins Foundation for kindly donating 25 tickets to the match between Bristol City and Sheffield Wednesday at Ashton Gate.

One of our Heart Hero mums shared this with us:

“We wanted to say a huge thank you for the tickets to the football match yesterday. It was a fabulous day where we were able to make special memories, and it was such a ‘pick me up’ for our daughter, who is slowly recovering from recent heart surgery. She has been very low and struggling, so it was wonderful to see her smile again. Without the support of Heart Heroes, I don’t know where we would be. Please pass on our thanks to those who donated the tickets. We also met another family from the same area who were attending too.” 

Moments like these remind us just how powerful community support can be.
