Celebrating Courage – Cameron’s Award
We are so proud to celebrate 8-year-old Heart Hero Cameron Manning from Ilminster, who has been honoured with a BBC Radio Somerset Make a Difference Award for his incredible bravery and courage.
Cameron was born with a rare heart condition and has already faced two major heart surgeries and a stent fitting. Now, while waiting for a heart transplant, he continues to inspire everyone around him with his strength and positivity.
This award is a true reflection of the hero he is – and a reminder of why our Heart Heroes community exists: to support, uplift and celebrate children like Cameron who show us what resilience really looks like.
Congratulations Cameron – you are a true Heart Hero!
