Last week, our Founder, Kelly, attended the SoHPS Northern Study Day 2026, presenting alongside Kirsten Black, Advanced Health Play Specialist at Great Ormond Street Hospital.
Together, they shared “Beyond Stickers” — showcasing our Heart Heroes Bear, Passport & Sticker Programme and how it can help children navigate hospital appointments, procedures and surgery while encouraging positive medical experiences and strengths-based coping.
It was a fantastic opportunity to share the programme with Health Play Specialists from across the UK and demonstrate the difference something seemingly simple can make to a child’s hospital journey. It was also great to catch up in person with Kasey director of The Coping Company.
A huge thank you to Kirsten and the GOSH Play Team for their passion for the programme and for helping us share its impact.
