Heart Heroes is excited to announce the completion of a key milestone in our partnership with Great Ormond Street Hospital (GOSH). Our Charity Founder Kelly, Hertfordshire Hub Coordinator Selina, and Family Support Lead Nicola—recently completed their training under the guidance of Jamie, Head of Volunteer Services at GOSH.

The training session included insightful visits to various wards, including the Cardiac Bear Ward, Flamingo ICU, Walrus, and Outpatients, allowing our team to familiarise themselves with the hospital environment and the specific needs of the children and families on cardiac pathways.

This partnership will allow us to make regular visits to GOSH, where we will offer vital support to families navigating complex cardiac journeys. We are looking forward to making a meaningful impact through this collaboration and furthering our mission to support children living with heart conditions.

Stay tuned for more updates as we embark on this important initiative!
