During the Easter Holidays families of Heart Heroes gathered to mark Easter with joy and festivity, thanks to the generous support raised during Heart Month. Hosted at Memorial Woodlands, the event featured a delightful array of Easter-themed crafts, outdoor games, and a scrumptious buffet, culminating in a spirited Easter egg hunt led by none other than the beloved Easter bunny.
The highlight of the day was undoubtedly the egg and spoon race, which brought laughter and excitement to children and adults alike. This memorable day out was made possible by the efforts of dedicated volunteers and organisers. Special thanks go to Shirley, Teresa, Jenny, and Jess for their exceptional hospitality and impeccable event management.
Cameron and Hattie, our invaluable Heart Heroes volunteers, played a pivotal role in ensuring the success of the day. Their commitment and enthusiasm exemplify the spirit of giving that underpins our community.
A massive thank you to Nuffield Health Gloucester for their generous support in donating Easter eggs to this special event. It's wonderful to see local businesses like yours stepping up to make a difference in our community. Your contribution added an extra touch of joy and delight to our Easter celebrations for Heart Heroes and their families. This kind of support truly makes a positive impact and is greatly appreciated by everyone involved. Thank you once again for your kindness and generosity!
