We Ask, We Listen

General News

Thank you so much to everyone who responded to our recent survey – here are the results! It’s really important to us that we listen to what you guys need and want more of, and we’re already making lots of plans based around your feedback.

We asked Heart families about the sort of support they’d like more of:

A massive 66% said they would like to see more family days out, with 52% saying they’ve already been on HH days out. We love organising these events, so expect to see even more in the future!

46% said more ICAN workshops please (activity workshops celebrating abilities not disabilities), with 26% having already taken part. This is great news as we’ve got big plans for ICAN this year and next.

46% also wanted hospital support to continue and increase, which is something very high up on our agenda.

42% of replies cited more Hub support, care packages and online support, all of which had been accessed at good levels but families want more of.

There is also an appetite for activities and support for over 11-year-olds and over 18s, which is something we’ve been looking at for a while. Watch this space for more news on the improved levels of online support we’ll be offering soon, big plans are afoot!
