We can't wait to see you all again on Sunday, 2nd November, for I Can Perform Poetry with Stephanie Budski-Fleming.
Children learn poetry to boost literacy skills, improve emotional intelligence, enhance creativity, and develop confidence in self-expression. Poetry exposes children to rich language and complex ideas, improving their vocabulary and comprehension while fostering critical thinking and imagination. It also provides a valuable outlet for processing emotions and understanding diverse perspectives, contributing to empathy and well-being.
Start time: 2:30 pm End/pick up time: 5:00 pm
Dress code: We encourage children to wear their I Can T-shirts and Zoodies.
Refreshments: We encourage the children to bring their own labelled drinks, but water/squash and healthy snacks will be available. But if this isn’t suitable for your child, please bring an alternative that must be clearly labelled.
Parents information: We encourage these sessions to be a drop-and-go, but if you need to stay, then you are more than welcome.
