Kelly has three children and runs Heart Heroes full time on a voluntary basis. Kelly comes with a background in childcare and is super proud and passionate about Heart Heroes.
Zoe – Trustee
Zoe has two girls and runs her own hair and beauty salon. Zoe is a trustee of Heart Heroes and a part of the committee.
Rose – Trustee
Rose has four children and her youngest Naayt has a congenital heart defect. Rose works part time and volunteers at Heart Heroes. Rose has recently become a trustee.
Peter – Trustee
Peter is the director of Quickmach Engineering. Peter provides support at events and helps us to raise awareness of what we do as a charity.
Jo – Volunteer Coordinator
Jo is mum to Molly and is a teaching assistant at her local infant school. Jo is on the Heart Heroes committee and coordinates all of our volunteers.
Sarah – Committee Member
Sarah has one son Josh and works at a senior school in the office. Sarah has been on the committee since we started and runs our ever populer 100 club fundraiser.
Gemma – Patron
Gemma is a children’s book author and a mum to two boys Logan and Caleb. Logan has a heart defect. Gemma is Heart Heroes Patron.
Amy – Communications Assistant
Amy is mum to Arlo and has worked in childcare for many years. Amy is our communications assistant and a part of the fundraising committee. Amy also volunteers at our events.
Nicola – Committee member and Bristol Hub coordinator
Nicola is our Bristol Hub coordinator and also works closely with the cardiac ward at Bristol Children’s Hospital. Nicola is a parent rep for the South West and South Wales Congenital Heart Disease Network that oversees the cardiac service that is provided in the South West region.
Ella – Committee member and Wales Hub coordinator
Ella is associated with the Welsh Hub. She has a congenital heart disease herself and has recently, had a baby boy, who was born without CHD. It was a 1 in 10 chance of her son being born with CHD and this made her realise how scary this must be for parents.
Zoe – Committee Member
Zoe is a Cardiac Ward sister at Bristol children’s hospital.

Heart Heroes Young Volunteers play a huge part by volunteering at both our fundraising events and our heart family get-togethers.
