Art project ‘Life in lockdown’

Art Projects for Schools (APFS) has launched a range of free, online Activity Books to keep children’s minds busy during the lockdown. Their latest book is called ‘Life in Lockdown’ and provides children (and adults) the opportunity to record, write, photograph and design their own book about this unusual time in all of our lives. Hailed by scientists as a once in a century event, the impact of Covid-19  has rippled out across the nation. By channelling thoughts and feelings into a book APFS hopes to provide an online space for children to express themselves and should they want to print it, a memento to keep.

A dedicated members page for Heart Heroes has been created on the APFS website, which can be accessed here.  If you would like a hard-copy of the book, APFS will print it for you as a full-colour A4 book for £7 plus postage. They will be donating £1 of every sale back to Heart Heroes.

Should anyone need help with the books from design ideas to technical support, please contact the APFS customer service team on 0800 027 1939 or email them at info@apfs.org.uk.
